A sofisticated military fortress founded in 18 century by Emperor Joseph II and named in honor of his mother Empress, Maria Theresa. Town,that dramatically changed during the second world war and was converted to place of pain and suffer as well as strenght, courage and hope,Theresinstadt. Divided into a big fortress, that was serving a purpouse of Jewish ghetto and a small fortress used as a gestapo political prison.A town with its own railway transpotation system, where more then 150 thousand of people including 15 thousand of children were sent and held for months and years, before getting deported to extermination camps.
Less then 150 children survived.

About the tour:
You will be picked up by your private guide at the place of your stay in Prague, and embarque for a less then an hour ride to Terezín.
Our first stop will be a small fortress and National cemetery. A former political prison where, not only Jews,but also many members of resistance from all over the Europe were held. We will walk through a different courtyards visiting mass and solitary cells,a sad place where horrific suffering took place. Watch a 10 minutes propaganda movie ,filmed with intention to show how well were the Jews living while in Terezin.
From a small fortress we will move about half mile away to big fortress, where we will visit a ghetto museum and a crematorium,build by the prisoners . We will end our tour full of emotions with a delicious, traditional Czech lunch.
